Les fabricants du casque modèle 16

Bonjour à tous,

Souhaitant faire une fiche sur le casque allemand modèle 16, je souhaiterai référencer les fabricants du "stahlhelm" 16 allemand avec photos des marquages...

N'en ayant trouvé que quelques uns, je m'adresse à vous, ayant plus de chance de trouver mon bonheur ici

Several companies received contracts to produce steel helmets. Usually, the manufacturer mark and the size of
the helmet was stamp in the inside of the helmet. The following markings and sizes are observed1:
· BF F.C. Bellinger, Fulda
· ET Eisenhüttenwerk Thale, Thale/Harz
· G or GL Gebrüder Gnüchtel, Lauter/Sachsen
· GBN Gebrüder Bing, Nürnberg
· LI Stahlwerk Richard Lindenberg AG
· K Remscheid-Hasten K, Remscheid
· NJ Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke, Schwerte/Westphalen
· Q Firma F. W. Quist, Esslingten
· SE (formely G) Sachsische Emaillen u. Stanzewerke
· Si Eisenhüttenwerk Schlesien, Paruschowitz/ Oberschlesien
· SH (intertwined) Siemens u. Halske, Siemensstadt/Berlin
· TJ C. Thiel & Söhne, Lübeck
· W Hermann Weissenberger & Co

All manufacturers produced the model 1916 helmet except SE which manufactured only model 1918 helmets.
ET was the only company which produced all model 1916 helmet sizes, i.e. size 60, 62, 64, 66 and 68. TJ, LI
and SH were the only companies which produced the small size 60 model 1916 helmet. The large model 1916
helmets in size 68 were made by TJ, W and ET. The model 1916 in size 66 was made by BF, SI, TJ, W, Q and
ET. The model 1916 in size 64 was made by BF, G, GBN, K, SI, Röchling and ET. Finally, the model 1916 in
size 62 was made by BF, G, GL, GBN, NJ, SI, Röchling and ET.
The model 1918 was only produced by BF, ET and SI in sizes 62, 64 and 66 and by SE (size 64), TJ (size 66)
and W (size 66). The model 1918 with ear cut out only by ET in size 64.

-NI = Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, Schwerte in Westfalen.
-K&M = Korting & Mathiesen aus leutsch bei leipzig
-K? J. & H. Kerkman, Ahlen/Westphen =[b]

Sur ma coque le fabricant est "BF 62".

Et je regarderais sur mon autre coque aussi,

Bonjour à tous, que faut-il penser d'un casque sans logo de fabricant? Est-il possible de déterminer le fabricant par un détail du casque?

NI = NJ, la confusion est faite entre le I et le J majuscule.

Je dois avoir des stats sur les répartitions des tailles par fabricant. De mémoire

ET 64 = 22,5 % des fabrications, soit environs 2 millions d'exemplaire
BF 64 = 15 %
.
.
.
.
GBN 64 = 3 %
HS 60 = 2 %

ensuite on arrive dans des fabricants exotiques.

Si cela vous intéresse, je pourrais vous chercher les chiffres, mais j'en doute car personne ne présente son stahlhelm en disant voici un Q66, ou un TJ68. Et, c'est bien dommage.

ET = 30,9 % soit = 2,3 millions (M) de casques environ.
BF = 18,8 %soit = 1,4 M
Si = 14,4 % soit = 1 M
TJ = 8,3 % soit environ 660000 casques
Q = 7,2 % soit environ 540000 casques
G = 6,6 % soit environ 500000 casques
W = 3,9 % soit environ 290000 casques
GBN = 3,3 % soit environ 250000 casques
K = 1,7 % soit environ 125000 casques
H&S = 1,1 % soit environ 83000 casques
NI/NJ= 0,7 % soit environ 50000 casques


Tous les autres fabricants ont du recevoir des commandes de moins de 50.000 casques
